1. What is the highlight of your Church CC career to date?

Difficult to chose, winning the double as captain in the seconds in 2010 was amazing all season. Then of course there was the T20 win at Tod which was incredible and a great night after that!

2. What is your best recollection of leading the 2nd XI to the double in 2010?

Two things that stand out the most, with the first being before the first game of the season, when we were sorting out the batting line up and we realised we had the world XI of second teams, but I don’t think any of us realised at the time we would only lose two games all season.

The second was the Lowerhouse game at home. We set a low total of about 125 and they were absolutely cruising at 100/2 with plenty of overs left. Still to this day I don’t quite realise how we managed to ball them out but it was unbelievable.

3. You are very much a man who is under the thumb and are getting married in the not to distant future. Which Church CC pro have you loved playing with the most and why?

I would have to say Saeed and I think most will agree, who played with him. A top bloke and some of the shots he came out with were unbelievable, I’ll certainly not miss keeping to his arm ball either!!

4. Your youngest brother (Jack) is a team mate. What is it like playing in the same team?

Someone has to look after him and try and stop an opponent or another team mate from giving him a slap! But I do enjoy that we have both gone from playing in the back yard to the first team.

5. You love fielding. Why?

Probably because it’s the only thing I’m good at! I just wish I could hit the stumps a bit more.
