Get to know the new lad as he lifts the lid on his love affair with FIFA. The idea is simple: 26 questions, one for each letter of the alphabet.

A - AWAY - What is your favourite away ground you have played at?

Settle is always a nice place to play Cricket on a nice day. Monton near Manchester is probably the best ‘ground’ I’ve played on.

B - BANTER - Who has the best banter at the club?

C - CLUB - What football team do you support?

Blackburn Rovers unfortunately

D - DINING - What would be your last 3 course meal?

Probably have to be Calamari to start, Steak and Chips for main and Sticky Toffee Pudding to finish

E - EVENINGS - A quiet night in with the missus or a night out with the lads? Why?

Haven’t got a missus so I will have to go with a Away Day with the lads

F - FOREIGN - What is your favourite holiday destination?

Gold Coast, Australia. Serious place

G - GAME - What’s the best game of cricket you have ever played in?

Ramsbottom Cup Semi Final for Cherry against Brooksbottom probably 5 years ago. We needed 6 to win off 2 balls, 9 wickets down. Nas Iqbal won it with a 6

H - HOBBIES - What do you like to do in your spare time?

Golf and Football usually. Bit of Fifa too.

I - IDOL - Who is your favourite cricketing hero?

Got to be Ben Stokes at the moment. Unbelievable Summer

J - JOBS - What is your current occupation?

Currently a Surveying Student. Do a bit of Delivering as Part Time work.

K - KIDS - What were you like as a child?

Probably the same as now. An angry man who’s a pain in the ass

L - LOATH - What annoys you the most and why?

People who film their steering wheel with a tune on while they drive. Proper melts

M - MUSIC - What is your favourite type of music and what is your favourite song?

Don’t really have a favourite type but I’m partial to a bit of Rap. Stormzy - ShutUp would be my go too

N - NICKNAME - What’s your nickname and what’s the best one you’ve ever heard?

Not many that can be told on this sort of thing. KFlo is one that has stuck from my time in Aus

O - OPTIMISM - How do you think Church will do this year? League? T20? Cup?

Hopefully a good chance in all 3. League is obviously the priority I’d say. I’d imagine we have a real good chance of going up, preferably as Champs.

P - PETS - Do you have any pets?

1 Dog. Finlay. Who’s a Boxer

Q - QUALITY - Who is the best player you’ve played with and against? Why?

Best played against is probably Christian Jonkerr I think his name was, who sub pro’d for Harwood against us at Cherry. He smashed 150. Best I’ve played with is probably Ferisco Adams, who was pro at Cherry. He had some serious talent

R - RAPID - Who’s the quickest bowler you’ve faced?

Not much above 60mph in the Ribb League so it would have to be some randoms over in Aus, who tried hitting me on the head for being a ‘Pom’

S - STRANGE - What’s the weirdest thing you’ve seen in your life?

Levi getting a wicket and not giving a send off.

T - TELEVISION - What do you like to watch on the box?

Usually Sport is all I watch but I’m partial to a bit of Corrie on catch up

U - UNKNOWN - Tell us something that we don’t know about you.

My first senior wicket at Cherry was Zaidi at the age of 15. Bounced him out (I’ll remind him of it over the summer).

V - VIDEO GAMES - Do you play any games consoles? If so, how often and what do you play?

I do. Way too much too. Only really play Fifa when I haven’t broken my controller because of it

W - WORLD - What is the place you’d love to travel to the most? Why?

I’d have to say Queenstown in New Zealand or Vegas.

X - XYLOPHONE - Can you play any musical instruments?

Nope, not a thing.

Y - YIKES - Are you scared of anything? If so, what?

Can’t say I really am. Not a fan of Rats though. They creep me out.

Z - ZODIAC - What is your star sign?

Not a clue. Couldn’t think of anything less interesting
